I am a engineer living in NorCal that tends to get distracted easily. I am lax in updating my journals and go through periods of not posting much of anything. I love getting outdoors on the bike, in the kayak, or on a nice hike...and occasionally I remember to take the camera along.
Though I do love making fractals and using my underdeveloped camera skills...I am an appreciator of art first and foremost (in almost any media).

Obligatory Update
So, I got married and moved into the new house. We also finally got a computer so expect some photos and other artwork in the near future...hopefully. At the moment I'm sending this update from my hospital bed. Turns out I had to have my gallbladder removed after two trips to the emergency room. I will hopefully be released today and nice and comfortable at home.

TWO WEEKS!!!
Well, you all are going to get another update!
We're closing on our house next week and the following week I turn twenty-something...and cap it off with getting married to an amazing guy on the 1st of September. It's going to be a sprint to the finish, but we're getting there.

It seems I only manage to update my journal after long absences, and unfortunately they won't be more frequent or consistent for quite a while.
Along with planning a wedding...we're in the middle of trying to buy a home...but enough excuses. I've wanted to get a bit more serious with my photography and I'm about to embark on a short course. It'll be rough in the beginning, but I'm hoping you'll see a trend for the better in my gallery and please feel free to critique (constructively) at will.
